World Refugee Day Rally - It's time to end Mandatory detention

WORLD REFUGEE DAY - MARCH AND RALLY

Information taken from the official Facebook group: http://www.facebook.com/event.php?eid=170456896347356

Where: Sydney Townhall
When: Noon (12pm), Sunday June 19

At the rally we have great speakers including Sarah Hanson Young (Greens), Renuka Balasubramaniam (Lawyers for Liberty, Malaysia), and Abdul Karim (Hazara refugee and ex-detainee).

We have had an overwhelming response from our call out for endorsements (see our current list below). People are coming to join the march from all around Sydney and as far as the Blue Mountains, Bathurst, Newcastle and Wollongong.

So we hope to see you all on World Refugee Day to make clear:
‘It’s time to END Mandatory DETENTION’
